روغن سیاه دانه نوعی روغن حامل است که از دانه های گل  Nigella sativa به روش پرس سرد استخراج می شود.
به طور سنتی، روغن سیاه دانه دارای خواص تحریک کننده، گرم کننده و تاثیرات مثبت بر بهبود خلق و خو می باشد.

در طب سنتی سیاهدانه به عنوان یک معجون مکمل با سایر گیاهان دارویی در درمان اکثر بیماری ها به کار گرفته می شود.
روغن سیاه دانه بطور موضعی به منظور آبرسانی، تسکین، تقویت و تغذیه پوست، رفع عفونت های قارچی و لکه های پوستی و نیز برای ترمیم و بازسازی پوست استفاده می شود و موجب صاف شدن، روشن شدن و شفاف شدن پوست خواهد شد. روغن سیاه دانه همچنین در صورتی که بر روی مو اعمال شود، موجب تغذیه و تقویت مو می شود.
روغن سیاه دانه از نظر دارویی، باکتری های مضر را از بین می برد، پاسخ ایمنی قوی پوست را تحریک می کند، روند بهبود پوست را تسهیل کرده و دردهای عضلانی و درد مفاصل را نیز به بهترین شکل تسکین می دهد.

تاریخچه استفاده از روغن سیاه دانه

روغن سیاه دانه از دانه های گیاه Nigella sativa گرفته می شود که بیشتر به گل رازیانه معروف است. همچنین این روغن با نام های مختلف دیگری از جمله Black Oil ،Baraka ،Fitch Oil ،Kalajira Oil  و Kalonji Oil نیز شناخته می شود.
برای بیش از 3000 سال، از دانه های روغنی سیاه دانه برای کاربردهای آرایشی، دارویی و آشپزی مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد. از سیاه دانه به عنوان دارو گیاهی، چاشنی و تسکین دهنده درد و تحریکات موضعی، از جمله گزش، زخم، التهاب و بثورات پوستی استفاده می شده است. 
بر اساس منابع تاریخی، اعتقاد بر این است که روغن سیاه دانه برای اولین بار توسط آشوریان مصر باستان مورد استفاده قرار گرفته است، جایی که از آن توسط شخصیت های مشهور سلطنتی مانند کلئوپاترا و نفرتیتی برای مراقبت از پوست به شکل یک دارو گیاهی استفاده شده است.

در هند و خاورمیانه، از دانه های سیاه دانه که دارای عطر و طعم تلخ و تندی هستند در ترکیباتی که از فلفل سیاه، پودر پیاز و پونه کوهی تشکیل شده اند استفاده می شود و به عنوان ادویه و طعم دهنده در خوراک حبوبات، پخت نان، خورشت کاری و سبزیجات پخته استفاده می شود. 
در آیورودا، روغن سیاه دانه عمدتاً به دلیل خاصیت تحریک کنندگی، گرم کننده و تقویت کننده و همچنین به دلیل اثر بخشی بر بهبود روحیه در طیف گسترده ای از کاربردها مورد استفاده قرار گرفته است.

در طب سنتی، از روغن سیاه دانه برای درمان بی اشتهایی، بیماری های مقاربتی و بیماری های زنان استفاده می شود. همچنین اعتقاد بر این است که سیاه دانه برای تحریک اشتها و افزایش متابولیسم و سوخت و ساز بدن، کاهش اختلالات عصبی، تعادل مزاج و تقویت هماهنگی بدن و ذهن مفید است.
طبق سوابق تاریخی پزشکان یونانی در قرن 1 میلادی، از سیاه دانه برای تسکین دندان درد، سردرد، گرفتگی بینی و کرم روده استفاده می شده است. 
با توجه به خاصیت تقویت کنندگی روغن سیاه دانه، پزشکانی مانند بقراط آن را برای بیمارانی که بیماری عمومی و ضعف داشتند تجویز می کردند. دیگر یونانیان باستان از آن برای تحریک شروع قاعدگی و افزایش تولید شیر در زنان استفاده می کردند. 
در کتاب "الشفاء"، نوشته حکیم ابن سینا، سیاه دانه را با توانایی های درمانی معتبر شناخته و از آن به دلیل خاصیت تقویت کنندگی، تحریک کننده و پیشگیری کننده  تقدیر کرده است. در این کتاب از سیاه دانه به عنوان تقویت کننده انرژی و کاهش ضعف، خستگی، غم و احساس دلسردی صحبت شده است. علاوه بر این، وی کاربرد درمانی سیاه دانه را برای رفع و تسکین علائم سرماخوردگی، تب، سردرد، تحریکات موضعی، زخم ها، اختلالات پوستی، دندان درد و کرم روده و انگل تأیید کرده است.

خواص روغن سیاه دانه

ترکیبات شیمیایی روغن سیاه دانه شامل اسید پالمیتیک، اسید استئاریک، اسید اولئیک و اسید لینولئیک هستند و از ترکیبات اصلی این روغن محسوب می شوند.

اسید پالمتیک به دلیل داشتن خواص زیر مشهور است:

خاصیت نرم کنندگی 
نرم کردن مو ها بدون ایجاد چربی اضافه و احساس سنگینی و چسبندگی
متداول ترین اسید چرب اشباع می باشد.
 

اسید استئاریک به دلیل داشتن خواص زیر شناخته می شود:

یک ماده امولسیون کننده ایده آل برای اتصال آب و روغن است.

پوست را نرم می کند.
 

اسیدهای اولئیک (امگا 9) دارای خواص زیر است:

چین و چروک های زودرس و خطوط ریز را کاهش می دهد.

Stella wanted to climb so high that she could catch the sun with her little hands! One day, Stella’s parents took her to a very, very high mountain! Even though Stella became very tired on the way. She was was happy Because she knew that when she reached the top of the mountain, she would be very close to the sun and she thought that she could take it from the sky for herself.

After hours of climbing, Stella and her mother and father reached the top of the mountain! But the sun was still in the sky and Stella could not reach it. That’s why she turned to his father and said:
Dad! Can we take the sun home with us?

Stella’s father tried to take the sun, but after a little effort he said:

So when the night came, he started to think and think. At the end, he whispered to his wife:

What will happen to us? We can not feed our kids. they are starving.

They walked that night, and the next day from the morning until the evening, but they could not find the way back to their home, and they were starving, for they had nothing to eat but the few berries they could pick up.

When they got very tired and decided to lay down under a tree and sleep.

It was now the third morning since they had left their father’s house. They were always trying to get back to it, but instead of that they only found themselves farther in the wood, and if help had not soon come they would have been starved.

About noon they saw a pretty snow-white bird sitting on a branch, and singing so sweetly that they stopped to listen. And when he had finished the bird spread his wings and flew before them, and they followed after him until they came to a little house, and the bird landed on the roof, and when they came closer they saw that the house was built of sweets, and roofed with cakes; and the window was of transparent sugar.

We will have some of this, said Hansel, and make a fine meal. I will eat a piece of the roof, Gretel, and you can have some of the window-that will taste like sugar.
